Fitness hacks
#21
Following up on my original post, I worked up to 11 pullups and 12 chinups during the summer in Ukraine, then injured both right shoulder and left elbow somehow. Shoulder has since healed. I was still able to do 12 chinups here in Bulgaria, after a month of no pullups/chinups but daily inverted rowing against trees (as I discussed above), so thst inverted rowing hack really is valuable when no horizontal bar available.

Still have left elbow problem to some extent doing pullups/chinups. Probably going to give up pullups entirely on favor of chinups, which are easier on elbows in my experience. As for commando pullups, I think those might be partly responsible for the shoulder problem, so ditched those long ago. Ring pullups are best for elbows, but I never encounter rings at a public outdoor exercise sites.
