Do only hotels approve a hosting visa, or can I get a random air bnb person to do it for me?

I'm looking to get a 3 year multi-trip visa. Once it's issued, do I have to buy a plane ticket on the exact date for the first trip or can I go at any date?

Once I check into my first hotel in russia that provided the visa, can I roam freely and stay anywhere in other cities without 'updating' anything?

I've never had to jump through this many hoops to get somewhere.

Well let's hope it's a case of the best places are those that are least accessible.

I will be going to Russia in a week for one month..

Planning to hit Moscow, Piter, Kazan, Krasnodar  maybe Sochi.

I've been in Ukraine for years and have never been bothered to go for RU visa until visa free came along. These days I'm looking for a girlfriend rather than notches. That said I like my bars and clubs so if the opportunity arises I ain't gonna say no of course

Hoping for a different attitude than Ukrops, maybe they will be more fun, more professional, take care of themselves etc, like the Russians I have met overseas.

This music video is one reason why I love Russian culture. Imagine the uproar if this was a hit song in USA. Missing slavic women.

That's quite a very red pill video.
The foot binding reference is also something that harks back hundreds of years.

You can buy the invitation online, there'
s multiple sites that provide such. You can book whatever hotel you want later.

I believe you can arrive within the date range specified on the invitation, does not need to be on the first day.

I also believe you need to register your visa every time you enter the country if it's a multi entry one, not sure what happens if you roam around different cities during the same entry.
